One aspect that is often overlooked, mostly due to a busy schedule or because of simply not having any idea, is the maintenance and care of instruments. From dealing with all kinds of percussion instruments in all kinds of situations, as well as a background in home renovation, there are some percussion maintenance services I offer as well.
DRUM TUNING
Whether you've just bought your first kit, are looking to change an old set of heads, or simply have never been shown how to tune, I can come to you and help get your drums sounding their best. Not only will I tune your drums to your liking, but I will also show you the various techniques that I use so you can tune your drums however you like them in the future.
PERCUSSION CARE & MAINTENANCE
Just like your car or your home, your percussion instruments wear over time and usage. This wear can affect the quality of your sound and playing experience. In addition to tuning your drums, I have a number of drum care strategies which can help to prolong the life of your drums.

The same goes if you've got an older kit which you're not quite ready to let go. I have a number of techniques that can breath life back into those older drums. Scratches or damaged shells are possible to fix, depending on the level of damage of course. If you have any pieces of hardware that have rusted to the point where they are difficult to use, I can do my best to salvage what I can. If I can't, I can get you a replacement part and get you back to playing in no time.
